Frisco pitcher Jesse Romo had a large part in his team beating the Shreveport Engineers, 6-3. The right-hander kept opposing batters in check throughout the game. Sterling Green recorded the save for Frisco, his 2nd of the season. With the win, Frisco goes to 8-7.

Had Hugo Santos not delivered a key base hit in the bottom of the seventh, the outcome might have been different. Instead, with two down and runners on 1st and 3rd, Santos hit a run-scoring single. That made the score 4-3, in favor of the RoughRiders.

"Today was a lot of fun," said Santos.
