Braves Suffer 6-3 Setback
|
The Corpus Christi Hooks faced a tough opponent in Mississippi pitcher Cameron Haggard, but did just enough to pull out the victory at Whataburger Field by a final score of 6-3. Haggard went 6.2 innings and allowed no runs. Sean Brickhouse snagged the win in relief. He goes to 2-1 on the season. Marlon Santos suffered the loss. With the win, Corpus Christi is 8-8.
Desmond Masters drew 2 walks against the Braves. With the game tied in the bottom of the eighth inning, he drew a walk, driving in 1 run that put Corpus Christi in front, 4-3.
