Getting offensive support from Elton Briggs, the Midland RockHounds topped the Biloxi Shuckers, 8-3. Briggs was 3 for 5 with 2 doubles. He drove in 3 runs and scored once for the RockHounds. Biloxi drops to 2-8.

With Midland trailing 3-2 in the top of the second, Briggs hit a fastball from Tyler Colantonio for a 2-run double. It was his 3rd double of the season and put the RockHounds ahead, 4-3.
