Aces Continue Skid, Thanks to Gonzalez, Jumbo Shrimp

The Jacksonville Jumbo Shrimp knocked off the Alexandria Aces by the score of 7-1. Barry Gonzalez provided some pop, going 3-for-4 with 2 home runs. Jackson Baumhover was the winner. Over 6.2 innings, he allowed no runs on 4 hits, with 3 walks and 4 strikeouts. Jacksonville, at 9-1, has sizzled in the early going.
In the top of the second of a scoreless game, Gonzalez hit a 3-run home run to put his team ahead.
