Frisco Beats Northwest Arkansas in 13-Inning Thriller
The Frisco RoughRiders faced a tough opponent in Northwest Arkansas pitcher Ethan Carson, but still scratched out a win at Arvest Ballpark by a final score of 4-1 in 13 innings. Carson went 8 innings and allowed 1 run. Frisco reliever Layton Drake was the winner. His record is now 2-0. Deron Rotondo took the loss. Brandon Falkner finished to wrap up his 1st save.

Elias Goodwin came through with a big-time hit for Frisco. The catcher smacked a 3-run home run in the top of the 13th inning to give his team the lead, 4-1. It was his only hit, but it was clutch.

"That was your kind of game, if you like high drama," said RoughRiders manager John Dresher.

The RoughRiders, now 5-2, have hit the ground running this season.
