|
Rocket City Trash Pandas starter Elijah Shipley was in the groove. He led his team to a win over the Pensacola Blue Wahoos, 3-2. The winner was Shipley. He threw 8.0 innings allowing 2 runs. The loser was Dorian Clark. Rocket City is now 2-2.
Had Grover Harris not delivered a key base hit in the bottom of the eighth, the outcome might have been different. Instead, with two down and runners on 1st and 2nd, Harris hit a run-scoring single. That made the score 3-2, in favor of the Trash Pandas.
