Though he had a great game, Oliver Terrazas could not single-handedly produce a win for Shreveport. Midland won the game, 10-2. Terrazas was 3-3 with 3 singles and a walk. Anthony Darbonne picked up the win in relief, improving his record to 1-0. Roldan Donzelli was tagged with the loss. With the loss, Shreveport falls to 1-1.

Jason Wilkinson had a big bases-clearing triple for the RockHounds in the bottom of the seventh inning. With Midland leading 4-1 and the bases loaded, he got a fastball from 26-year old right-handed pitcher Roldan Donzelli and swatted a triple to right-center. It was his 1st triple of the season, and more importantly, it put the RockHounds ahead, 7-1.

"We had a nice day," said Midland skipper T.J. Saddler.
