The Lincoln Bighorns had to reckon with Erie SeaWolves hurler Princeton Bell. Bell, who is tied for 3rd in the EL with a 3.08 ERA, overwhelmed the opposition in the 9-1 SeaWolves triumph. With the win, Erie upped its record to 78-57.

Erie used the hitting of Ivy Anderson to pick up the win. The shortstop clubbed a 2-run home run in the top of the second inning to put the SeaWolves on top, 2-0. For the game, Anderson had 1 home run and 1 single in 5 at-bats.

"We'll need a much better effort, the next time out," said losing manager Jackson Ladue.
