Akron Beats Binghamton in 10-Inning Thriller
Thanks in large part to left fielder Nestor Cruse, the Akron RubberDucks clipped the Binghamton Rumble Ponies, 8-5, in 10 innings. Cruse was 4 for 6 with a home run and 2 doubles, while scoring 2 and driving in 4. Robin Wright picked up the win in relief. Rhett Bragg took the loss for Binghamton. The win puts Akron at 72-62 this season.

In the bottom of the tenth, with the score tied, Cruse hammered a 3-run home run to win it for Akron.
