The New Hampshire Fisher Cats wasted an inspired, 5.2-inning effort from starter Brody Woodard, falling 2-0 to the Binghamton Rumble Ponies at NYSEG Stadium. The winner was Binghamton reliever Ethan Quigley, now 2-0. The loser was Roger Yao. Picking up the save was Jimmy Cayot, his 20th.

A crucial at-bat came with a runner on 1st and no one out in the bottom of the seventh inning. That's when shortstop Rafael Solis hit a double. The Rumble Ponies went on to win.

"Winning is the only thing that really matters," Solis told the Binghamton News. "If you can win without even breaking a sweat, more power to you."

The win puts the Rumble Ponies at 75-60, while the Fisher Cats drop to 82-53.
