In a tight tilt between the New Hampshire Fisher Cats and the Halifax Frigates, Sol Nestor was the deciding factor. The New Hampshire right-hander spearheaded the 2-0 win. Glenn Moody was called on to finish, recording his 2nd save. The Fisher Cats raised their record to 76-57.

The outcome was still in doubt in the top of the ninth inning. With the bases loaded and Halifax trailing 2-0, Glenn Moody needed to get a big out. On a first pitch fastball, Palmer Holley grounded out, putting the kibosh on a potential rally.
