Wichita Pilots starter Rocco Chase was in a rhythm all game. He led his team to a win over the Erie SeaWolves, 4-2. The SeaWolves, at 51-80, have lost 4 in a row.
Had Brandon Speight not delivered a key base hit in the bottom of the seventh, the outcome might have been different. Instead, with two down and runners on 1st and 2nd, Speight hit a run-scoring single. That made the score 2-1, in favor of the Pilots.
