SeaWolves Suffer 5-1 Setback
|
Akron pitcher Luther Hara did his part in helping his team beat the Erie SeaWolves, 5-1. The right-hander kept opposing batters in check throughout the game. The RubberDucks now have a record of 66-63.
ValentÃn Reyes drove in one run for Akron. The 26-year old catcher had a key at-bat in the bottom of the fifth. With one out and runners on 1st and 3rd, he broke a 0-0 tie with a run-scoring sacrifice fly off Dave Given. It was his 32nd RBI of the season.
Hara called the win "a collective effort."
