Bradford Reese left his imprint on the 7-6 Hartford win against the Akron RubberDucks. Reese, who is tied for 8th in the EL in home runs with 17, went 3 for 5 with a home run and 2 singles. He scored 2 runs and drove in 2. Hartford reliever Jordy McCullough picked up the win, raising his record to 2-7. Andy Edwards was tagged with the loss. After today's action, Hartford sits at 69-61; Akron slips to 70-60.

The decisive blow was delivered by Noah Silva in the bottom of the ninth when he hit a 3-run home run off 23-year old right-handed pitcher Andy Edwards to win the game for Hartford. The home crowd went nuts.
