A nice crowd turned out for a clash between the Lincoln Bighorns and Yonkers Dark Knights.

The Lincoln Bighorns beat the Yonkers Dark Knights, 15-4, at ONEOK Field. Lincoln third baseman Ramón Sonora had an outstanding performance. He went 4-5 with a home run and 3 singles. He scored 3 times and drove in 3. The winner was Jared Morey, who threw 105 pitches over 6.2 innings. The right-hander was charged with 2 runs on 6 hits.

Rod Ennis had a big grand slam home run for the Bighorns in the bottom of the second inning. With Lincoln trailing 1-0 and the bases loaded, he sized up a fastball from 22-year old right-handed pitcher James Walton and punished it. The result was his 6th home run of the season, which put the Bighorns on top, 4-1.

Said Yonkers manager Vince Hendrix: "They did a lot of things right. We did a lot of things wrong."

The Bighorns raised their record to 69-59.
