Sea Dogs Fall Short, 2-1, at Lincoln

B.J. Jonas was masterful in helping the Lincoln Bighorns take down the Portland Sea Dogs, 2-1. Bentley Jones recorded the save. In save chances, he's now 18 for 24. Lincoln, at 78-50, is 2 games up in the Eastern League Southwest Division.
Jason Taddei had a big solo home run for the Bighorns in the bottom of the third inning. With Lincoln leading 1-0 and the bases empty, he got a sinker from Stephen Gordon and swatted a home run to right-center. It was his 1st home run of the season, and more importantly, it put the Bighorns ahead, 2-0.
Jonas attributed the win to his team's "focus and intensity."
