The Lincoln Bighorns picked up a win at ONEOK Field, courtesy of Caden Nance. The right-hander helped his team stop the Portland Sea Dogs, 3-2. Nance got the win, improving to 8-8. He allowed 6 hits and walked 4 over 7 innings. Nance allowed 2 runs. The Bighorns now have a mark of 77-50.
Kaiden Beale was 1-3 with a walk for Lincoln. The 23-year old catcher had a key at-bat in the bottom of the third. With no one out and the bases loaded, he broke a 2-2 tie with a run-scoring ground out off Zayden Dugan. It was his 23rd RBI of the season.
"Good win for us," said Nance. "We'll lace up our cleats and go after the next one."
