Aguirre Lifts Rumble Ponies to 7-0 Triumph
The Binghamton Rumble Ponies defeated the Lancaster Barnstormers, 7-0, at NYSEG Stadium. Binghamton left fielder Eugene Aguirre had a superb performance. He went 4-5 with a home run, a double, and 2 singles, while scoring 2 times and driving in 2. Mike Worthy, who went 5 innings, was the winning pitcher. He was charged with no runs on 2 hits, while walking 1 and striking out 7. His record now stands at 5-9. V.J. Allberry got the save, his 2nd in 3 chances.

Binghamton took a 6-0 lead on Chris Thurman's 7th home run of the season. The grand slam home run came off Lancaster pitcher Ethan Davis in the bottom of the seventh.
