Pantoja Lifts Rumble Ponies to 11-4 Win
Getting offensive support from Austin Pantoja, the Binghamton Rumble Ponies topped the New Haven Ravens, 11-4. Pantoja was 3-4 with a home run, 2 singles, and a walk. He scored 2 times and drove in 3 for the Rumble Ponies. The winner was Jared Ward in relief. His record improves to 7-1. Andrés Carillo took the loss. The Rumble Ponies raised their record to 67-55.

Had it not been for Mark Gentry, the results might have been different. In the bottom of the eighth inning, when the Rumble Ponies were trailing 4-3, Gentry hit a 2-run single for Binghamton, giving his team the lead.

In postgame comments to the Binghamton News, Gentry said, "If the effort is there, the wins will come."
