The Wichita Pilots used a great performance from Benjamin Wolff, who is tied for 2nd in the EL in wins with 14, to beat the Lincoln Bighorns, 2-1, at Regions Field. The winning pitcher was Wolff, now 14-4. He tossed 7 innings of 3-hit ball, while walking 2 and fanning 7. Sha'kil Wilson recorded the save, his 36th.

Dennis Mann dealt the Bighorns a blow in the bottom of the second. Batting with a runner on 3rd and Wichita leading 1-0, Mann hit a 1-0 changeup for a run-scoring single.

"This level of focus will win us a lot of ballgames," Wolff said after the game.

The third-place Pilots improved to 77-45.
