The Wichita Pilots topped the Lincoln Bighorns, 4-3, in Eastern League action at Regions Field. The game was highlighted by the performance of Wichita pitcher Jacoby Renbarger. Renbarger got the win, improving to 4-6. He allowed 5 hits and walked 1 over 5 innings. Renbarger allowed 2 runs. Micah McDevitt earned the save, his 11th, for the Pilots.

The Pilots got an important contribution from designated hitter Powell Short, who in the bottom of the fourth punched a 1-1 fastball into center for a run-scoring double. It was his 29th double of the season and put the Pilots ahead, 4-2.

"Winning the game is always the first objective," Renbarger said.
