|
Pitcher Mariano Delgado was sensational for the Binghamton Rumble Ponies in his team's 3-1 triumph over the Erie SeaWolves. Delgado earned the win. Delgado, the winner, moves to 3-0. He threw 6.1 innings of 2-hit ball, while fanning 2 and giving up no walks. The Rumble Ponies bumped their record to 70-51 with this win.
Nick Brock had a key at-bat with one out in the bottom of the fourth for Binghamton. With the bases loaded and the Rumble Ponies leading 1-0, he drew a walk, driving in 1 run.
"Mariano did a good job of managing their lineup," said Binghamton manager Zane Tharp.
