The Halifax Frigates defeated the Providence Crabs, 4-3. Doing his part was right fielder Luke Forsyth, who was 3 for 4 with a home run and 2 singles. He scored 2 runs and drove in 2. At 47-75, the Frigates are currently 8th in the Eastern League North Division.

Forsyth contributed a big hit, a 2-run home run, for Halifax in the top of the fifth. With his team trailing 3-2, Forsyth took a fastball from Owen Young and stroked the home run to right-center. His 7th home run of the season allowed the Frigates to leap in front, 4-3.

After the game, Halifax manager Leo Olvera applauded the team's effort. "They busted their tails out there," he said.
