Dark Knights Claim 7-1 Triumph
The Yonkers Dark Knights and Portland Sea Dogs completed their game despite the rain.

The Yonkers Dark Knights defeated the Portland Sea Dogs, 7-1, in Eastern League action at Gunslingers Ballpark. Yonkers pitcher Richard Riechmann had a standout performance. Yonkers is now 54-66.

Yonkers took advantage of an error in the bottom of the sixth inning. The game was tied, 1-1, when Derek White hit a 2-run single that was misplayed. It put the Dark Knights in front, 3-1.

"I thought we played a nice game," White told the Yonkers Daily News. "Good pitching, timely hitting, it was all there."
