SeaWolves Win 4-3 Nail-Biter Versus Patriots
|
Jerry Uht Park played host to some exciting baseball.
The Erie SeaWolves did just enough to nip the Somerset Patriots, 4-3, in 10 innings. Erie pitcher Ethan Good, in particular, had a standout performance. The SeaWolves improved their record to 51-67 with the win over Somerset.
Erie got a knockout punch from Hywel Benjamin. The left fielder hammered a solo home run in the bottom of the tenth inning to win the game. It might've been his only hit, but it decided the outcome.
"To become 'battle-tested,'" said Good, "you need to compete in this kind of contest."
