Halifax registered a win at MGM Park by beating the Yonkers Dark Knights, 5-3. Pitcher Scotty Cox was one reason why the Frigates triumphed. Yonkers drops to 3-5.

Had Graham Lindsay not delivered a key base hit in the bottom of the eighth, the outcome might have been different. Instead, with two down and runners on 2nd and 3rd, Lindsay hit a 2-run single. That made the score 5-3, in favor of the Frigates.

"As well as we've been playing, I think we can play even better," said Halifax manager Ruben Figueredo.
