The Bowie Baysox beat the New Hampshire Fisher Cats, 6-2, at Prince George's Stadium. Bowie designated hitter Velo Arroyo had an outstanding performance. He went 2-4 with a double, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once. Bowie reliever Joshua Willison snagged the win, upping his record to 1-1. Ian Tripp shouldered the loss. Bowie goes to 65-49, New Hampshire to 71-43.

Arroyo contributed in the bottom of the first. With the bases loaded, he hit a 2-run double. It was one at-bat among others that helped Bowie get the win.

"We'll put this win in the can," said Arroyo, "and go after the next one."
