With Late Score, Pilots Beat Barnstormers
The Wichita Pilots picked up a win at Regions Field, downing the Lancaster Barnstormers, 3-2, in 12 innings. On the mound for Wichita was right-hander Andrew DeMore, who played a pivotal role in the win. The win went to Matt Holmes in relief. His record improves to 3-2. Hunter Wallace took the loss. The 4th-place Pilots have won 4 in a row.

The Pilots got a clutch hit from shortstop Joel Ervin. In the bottom of the 12th, he delivered a run-scoring single to win the game for the Pilots.

"We busted our tails," said Lancaster manager Josh Bieber. "But we came up short."
