Dark Knights Dump New Haven, 4-0, to Win 5th in a Row
|
Yonkers shortstop Brandon Durant made his presence felt in the 4-0 Dark Knights triumph over the New Haven Ravens. Durant was 2-4 with a home run, while scoring 2. Matt Garcia, credited with the win in relief, is now 4-0. He allowed no runs on 4 hits in 3 innings. With the win, Yonkers has a record of 62-51. New Haven falls to 69-44.
With Yonkers leading 1-0 in the top of the second, Durant hit a sinker from Kevin Walker for a solo home run. It was his 7th home run of the season and put the Dark Knights ahead, 2-0.
