The Halifax Frigates locked up a win at FNB Field, knocking off the Gateway Grizzlies, 5-3. On the mound for Halifax was left-hander D.J. Krapes. He played a major role in the triumph. Zach Hathaway earned the save for Halifax, his 3rd of the year. Halifax now has a record of 4-3.

Who knows how it would've ended, had it not been for Seton Maxwell? The 26-year old first baseman Maxwell stroked a 2-run single in the top of the seventh inning to put Halifax up, 5-3. For the game, he was 2 for 4, including 1 double and 1 single.
