The 3-RBI night of catcher Bob González helped the Binghamton Rumble Ponies triumph, 11-4, over the Gateway Grizzlies. With the win, the Rumble Ponies improved to 63-49.

Marc Jones, who is tied for 7th in the EL in bases on balls with 48, had a timely hit in the bottom of the fifth inning. With no one out and runners on 1st and 2nd, the Binghamton second baseman hit a run-scoring single. That put the Rumble Ponies in front, 3-2.
