The Portland Sea Dogs walked off with a big win.

The Lancaster Barnstormers could not turn a fine performance from pitcher Venceslás Santiago into a win. Instead, the Portland Sea Dogs prevailed, 6-5. Santiago threw 6.0 innings of shutout ball. The 8th-place Sea Dogs lifted their record to 44-68.

Stewart Michalski was the walk-off hero for Portland. With the game tied in the bottom of the ninth inning, the Sea Dogs center fielder hit a dramatic run-scoring single to send the teams home.

"Good hitters want to be the ones taking those big at-bats," said Michalski.
