The Altoona Curve downed the Providence Crabs, 5-3, in 10 innings. Gavin Greenwalt led the way, going 3-for-3 for Altoona. Giovanni Borromini picked up the win in relief, improving his record to 2-3. Dylan Foti was tagged with the loss. Kristian Paez notched his 7th save in 9 chances.

Altoona relied on the bat of Miguel Perea to get the win. The left fielder ripped a run-scoring double in the top of the tenth inning to put the Curve ahead, 4-3. For the game, Perea had 1 double and 1 home run in 5 at-bats.

"Our guys refused to lose," said Greenwalt.

The 8th-place Curve go to 47-62.
