Dark Knights Need Extra Frames to Get Past Patriots
The Yonkers Dark Knights snuck past the Somerset Patriots, 4-3, in 12 innings. Yonkers pitcher Richard Riechmann, in particular, had a standout performance. The win went to Drake Keeter in relief, making him now 6-3. Mohammed Montagna took the loss for Somerset. The 6th-place Dark Knights now have a win-loss record of 51-60.

Yonkers got a knockout punch from Henry Custer. The second baseman hammered a solo home run in the bottom of the 12th inning to win the game. It might've been his only hit, but it decided the outcome.

"We were determined to pick up this win," said Riechmann.
