The Binghamton Rumble Ponies weathered a fine game by Wichita catcher Zachariah Holley to upend the Pilots, 8-7, at NYSEG Stadium. Holley slugged 2 home runs. He scored 3 runs and drove in 3. Binghamton reliever Rob Farrell picked up the win to move to 4-3. A.J. Estrada suffered the loss. The Rumble Ponies raised their record to 53-57.

Pablo Santana had a big bases-clearing double for the Rumble Ponies in the bottom of the fourth inning. With Binghamton trailing 6-4 and the bases loaded, he got a slider from 25-year old right-handed pitcher Eli Stewart and swatted a double to right-center. It was his 18th double of the season, and more importantly, it put the Rumble Ponies ahead, 7-6.

"We had the game right there for the taking," said Wichita manager Ryan Coleman. "But we decided not to take it."
