Erie got a terrific game from right fielder Tony Young. It wasn't enough, though, to prevent the team from falling to Halifax, 6-4. Young went 3 for 4 with a home run and 2 singles. He drove in 2 runs and scored once. The win went to Kody Williams in relief, making him now 4-1. Jet Choi took the loss for Erie. The Frigates now have a record of 52-60 with the win over Erie.

Halifax used a well-timed hit by Max Hoyle to capture the win. The pinch hitter socked a bases-clearing double in the top of the sixth inning to put the Frigates ahead, 4-1. Though it was his only hit in 1 at-bat, it was important.

"Nice to keep our winning streak intact," said Hoyle.
