The Akron RubberDucks got a stellar performance from pitcher Stuart Kawata, who handcuffed the Wichita offense en route to a win, 4-0, at Canal Park. Kawata picked up the win for Akron, going 6 innings. He gave up no runs on 3 hits. He now sports a record of 8-3. Juan Carmona earned the save, his 3rd in 5 tries.
