The Bowie Baysox faced a tenacious opponent in Somerset pitcher Shaun Lai, but still scratched out a win at Arm & Hammer Park by a final score of 3-2 in 10 innings. Lai went 7 innings and allowed no runs. By defeating Somerset, the last-place Baysox improved to 35-70.
Ethan Bryan, who was drafted in the 3rd round of the 2058 draft, had a direct impact on the outcome. Bryan contributed a run-scoring single in the top of the tenth inning to put Bowie up, 3-2.
