Bighorns Handle Crabs, Nab 4-1 Win
|
A nice crowd turned out for a clash between the Lincoln Bighorns and Providence Crabs.
Lincoln picked up a win at Holyoke Grounds, bumping off the Providence Crabs, 4-1. Pitcher Angel Vazquez was a major reason the Bighorns emerged victorious. Lincoln bumps their record to 44-63 with the win.
Lewis LaChapelle had a direct impact on the outcome. LaChapelle contributed a 2-run single in the top of the sixth inning to put Lincoln up, 4-1.
"Angel did a really nice job of taking the ball and giving us a chance to win the game," said Lincoln manager Jackson Ladue.
