The first-place Akron RubberDucks took on the Erie SeaWolves in front of a spirited crowd.
Akron pitcher Marvin Raudenbush had a large part in his team beating the Erie SeaWolves, 6-2. The right-hander kept opposing batters in check throughout the game. Raudenbush picked up the win for Akron, going 5 innings. He gave up no runs on 1 hits. He now sports a record of 6-3.
Alexander Maner chipped in a 2-run home run for Akron in the bottom of the first. For the game, the right fielder had 2 hits in 3 at-bats with 1 home run, 1 single, 1 run scored, and 3 runs batted in.
