Hodgin Leads Somerset to 3-0 Win
|
In a low-scoring affair between the Somerset Patriots and the Erie SeaWolves, pitcher Caleb Hodgin was the difference between victory and defeat. The Somerset left-hander earned accolades for his stellar performance in the 3-0 Patriots win. Now 70-36, the Patriots have won 10 games in a row.
Hodgin tossed 91 pitches over 7 innings to clinch the win for the Patriots. The left-hander allowed just 3 hits, while racking up 8 strikeouts in the game.
"The effort we put into this one paid off," Hodgin said.
