The Altoona Curve picked up a win at People's Natural Gas Field, taking down the New Hampshire Fisher Cats, 5-4. Starting pitcher Konstantin Yeomans was a big reason why. Yeomans yielded 1 run over 7 innings to notch the win. He scattered 7 hits, walked 0, and struck out 4. His record improves to 5-8. Hansel Morrow sewed up the save, his 1st.

Steve Gray hit a 3-run home run off Adrian Crespo in the bottom of the first, which put the Curve ahead, 3-0. In addition to the homer, Gray had 1 double, while going 2 for 4.

"Feels good to get the job done," Gray said after the game.

The Curve now own a record of 59-47.
