The Pilots grabbed a win, 5-4, at FirstEnergy Stadium, overcoming a fine effort from Lancaster pitcher Tristan Hamilton. Hamilton went 5.1 innings and allowed 1 run. Gunner McKeeth was credited with the save. He has now successfully converted 4 of 6 save opportunities. The win hiked the Wichita record to 63-41.

It could have been a different outcome for Wichita, had it not been for Ezra Oyola, the 23-year old second baseman . Oyola contributed a run-scoring sacrifice fly in the top of the ninth inning to put Wichita up, 5-4.

"I like the vibe in the clubhouse after a win," said Oyola. "It sure beats the alternative."
