The Somerset Patriots defeated the Wichita Pilots, 7-4, in Eastern League action at Regions Field. Somerset pitcher Dennis Amalla had a standout performance. Hudson McElveen recorded the save. In save chances, he's now 11 for 13. The win hiked the Somerset record to 67-35.

With one out in the top of the second, Michelangelo White put Somerset in front, 3-0, with a 2-run single. The Patriots went on to win the ballgame.

"You can't get too high when things go well, or too low when things go bad. Right now, I'm just happy we got the win," Amalla told the Somerset Bulletin.
