Bowie got a decent performance from pitcher Crash Lyons, but it wasn't enough to beat the Binghamton Rumble Ponies. Binghamton won the NYSEG Stadium contest, 5-4. Lyons threw 8.0 innings allowing 3 runs for the losing team. The Rumble Ponies raised their record to 54-50.

The game was decided with one out in the bottom of the ninth. With Binghamton trailing 4-3, Ermengol Abrego hit a fastball from Cameron Shain to right-center for a 2-run single. Just like that, the Rumble Ponies had a walk-off win.

"This house was rockin'," Abrego said.
