Barnstormers Go Down to Defeat, 3-0
The Lancaster Barnstormers got a superb performance from pitcher Fadil Paterson, but the New Hampshire Fisher Cats still won the game, 3-0. Paterson threw 6.0 innings of 5-hit ball. Wallace Jeno, now 2-0, was credited with the win in 3 innings of relief. He allowed no runs on no hits, while striking out 2 and walking 0. The Fisher Cats, at 62-39, sit in third place in the Eastern League North Division.

Mikel Guzman had a big solo home run for the Fisher Cats in the bottom of the sixth inning. With New Hampshire leading 1-0 and the bases empty, he got a fastball from 24-year old right-handed pitcher Fadil Paterson and swatted a home run to left. It was his 6th home run of the season, and more importantly, it put the Fisher Cats ahead, 2-0.

"We'll pocket this win," said Guzman, "and then go after another."
