The Binghamton Rumble Ponies captured an easy win, 13-4, over the Lancaster Barnstormers at FirstEnergy Stadium. Eric Roberts led the offensive barrage, going 2-for-2 for Binghamton. Sanford Coley got credit for the win, improving to 1-0. He allowed 3 runs on 7 hits in 7 innings. The win leaves Binghamton with a record of 4-2.

In the first inning, Roberts had a grand slam home run for Binghamton. It was his 3rd home run of the season and put the Rumble Ponies on top, 5-0.
