The Lancaster Barnstormers and Binghamton Rumble Ponies obliged fans looking for a good time.

Though he had a terrific game, Jolly Roger Taylor could not prevent his team, the Binghamton Rumble Ponies, from absorbing a loss. Lancaster won the game, 6-5. Taylor was 2-3 with a home run, a double, and 2 walks. He drove in 2 runs and scored once. Marlon Valle was the winner. He's now 7-5. The loser was 23-year old right-handed pitcher Levi Dean.

The Barnstormers got a big at-bat from catcher Ron Velasco. For the game, Velasco went 1-1 with a double and 2 walks. He drove in 2 runs and scored once. In the bottom of the fourth, with runners on 1st and 2nd, he stroked a run-scoring double. His 2nd double of the season gave Lancaster a 2-1 lead.

Velasco told reporters after the game: "Took some doing, but we got it done."

The third-place Rumble Ponies dropped to 55-45.
