The Wichita Pilots got a sterling performance from pitcher Bennett Steffel, but the Binghamton Rumble Ponies still prevailed, 8-5. Steffel threw 5.0 innings of 4-hit ball. The win makes Binghamton 54-45.

Binghamton won the game in the bottom of the 14th inning. With no outs and Luke Maples on the mound for Wichita, right fielder Mark Gentry hit a dramatic 3-run home run, bringing Rumble Ponies fans to their feet.

"Exciting game to play in," said Gentry. "Getting the win makes it even better."
