Rodriguez, Dark Knights Too Much for Patriots
The 8-3 Yonkers win over Somerset was due largely to Jeremiah Rodriguez. The Dark Knights third baseman went 3-4 with a home run and 2 singles, while scoring 2 runs and driving in 3. Viviano Lucero picked up the win, improving his season record to 9-3. He struck out 4 in 6.1 innings. The second-place Dark Knights improved to 56-43.

With Yonkers leading 1-0 in the bottom of the third, Rodriguez hit a cutter from Yoanis Duran for a 2-run home run. It was his 7th home run of the season and put the Dark Knights ahead, 3-0.

"Today was a lot of fun," said Rodriguez.
