The Quebec Metros faced a tough opponent in Erie pitcher R.L. Unsworth, but did just enough to pull out the victory at Metros Ballpark by a final score of 3-2 in 10 innings. Unsworth went 7.2 innings and allowed 2 runs. Jess Niemi picked up the win in relief. His record improves to 8-3. Mark Levy suffered the loss. The Metros now own a record of 57-42.

The Metros got a clutch hit from left fielder Leo Bussell. In the bottom of the tenth, he delivered a run-scoring single to win the game for the Metros.
