Altoona overcame a superior effort from Kean Nagai to beat Somerset, 4-3, in 11 innings. The Somerset pitcher threw 7.2 innings of shutout ball. With the win, the Curve have a record of 48-47.

The Curve got a clutch hit from catcher Clint Morris. In the bottom of the 11th, he delivered a run-scoring single to win the game for the Curve.

"Our offense was purring," said Altoona manager Jose Ortiz. "Like a well-oiled machine."
