The timely hitting of Félix Pérez helped the Halifax Frigates down the Erie SeaWolves, 5-4. Pérez went 4-4 with a home run, 3 singles, and a walk, while scoring 2 runs and driving in 2 for the Frigates. Halifax reliever Florencio Cabanes picked up the win, upping his record to 6-4. Maddox Zon was saddled with the loss. With the victory, the Frigates upped their record to 49-46.

In the bottom of the ninth, with the score tied, Pérez hammered a solo home run to win it for Halifax.

"I was a little disappointed," said Erie manager Jonathan Stout. "We could've and should've scored more runs."
