The Altoona Curve picked up a win at People's Natural Gas Field, knocking off the Lancaster Barnstormers, 6-2. Starting pitcher Lloyd Silva played a key role in the triumph. Altoona reliever Orville Yasuda was the winner. His record is now 5-2. The losing pitcher was Brian Lochridge. The Curve have now won 8 straight.

One big at-bat came with a runner on 1st in the bottom of the eighth inning. Lochlan Iacobellis, who is tied for 5th in the EL in bases on balls with 42, hit a double off Lancaster pitcher Brian Lochridge. The Curve went on to win the game.
